I just love the idea of repurposing common household items and making them useful for other purposes. The other day I was using a super dull pair of scissors and remembered reading somewhere that you could sharpen them up using some sandpaper. I decided to give it a try and by golly it worked!! This of course got me thinking about what else I might be able to do with this abrasive material that almost everyone has laying around their garage or workshop.
